Get ready for an unforgettable deep dive into the heart of Swiss tradition, one spectacular stop at a time.

Join New York Adventure Club for a captivating nine-part series exploring the rich traditions, stunning landscapes, and artistic spirit of Switzerland. In Part Seven: Fribourg, we’ll explore a city that bridges language, culture, and cuisine; where medieval landmarks and local festivals showcase the best of both French and German Switzerland.

Led by tour guide Kelsey Betzelberger, this experience — featuring plenty of firsthand photo and video walkthroughs, intriguing anecdotes, and expert insights — will include:

• Fribourg Cathedral & Old Town Bridges — A walk through Fribourg’s Gothic cathedral and its historic bridges, reflecting the city’s role as a cultural crossroads
• Joseph Lauber & Le Corbusier — A look at the musical legacy of composer Joseph Lauber and the architectural brilliance of Le Corbusier, whose designs helped shape Swiss modernism
• Fondue Moitié-Moitié & Meringues — A delicious dive into Fribourg’s culinary specialties, from its signature half-and-half fondue to airy meringues served with double cream
• Fribourg Carnival & Bénichon Festival — An overview of two beloved local festivals that celebrate Swiss heritage through costumes, parades, traditional dances, and saffron bread
• Swiss Choral Music & Alpine Inspiration — A reflection on Fribourg’s strong choral traditions and their ties to spiritual life and alpine storytelling
