Get ready for an unforgettable deep dive into the heart of Swiss tradition, one spectacular stop at a time.

Join New York Adventure Club for a captivating nine-part series exploring the rich traditions, stunning landscapes, and artistic spirit of Switzerland. In Part Eight: Ticino, we’ll head to the sun-soaked southern canton where Swiss precision meets Italian passion — a region full of lakeside beauty, medieval castles, and a bold artistic identity.

Led by tour guide Kelsey Betzelberger, this experience — featuring plenty of firsthand photo and video walkthroughs, intriguing anecdotes, and expert insights — will include:

• Lugano’s Lakeside & Bellinzona Castles — A look at Ticino’s architectural and natural treasures, from serene lake promenades to the UNESCO-listed fortress trio of Bellinzona
• Francesco Chiesa & Stefano Galli — An exploration of Ticino’s literary and musical voices, with poetry by Francesco Chiesa and folk-inspired compositions from Stefano Galli
• Polenta with Cheese & Merlot del Ticino — A sampling of classic Ticinese dishes and regional wine, highlighting the canton’s rich blend of Italian culinary traditions
• Locarno Film Festival & Festa della Vendemmia — A glimpse into Ticino’s vibrant cultural calendar, featuring one of Europe’s most iconic film festivals and a joyful wine harvest celebration
• Italian Folk Music & Southern Swiss Dance — A lively journey through the region’s expressive folk music and dance traditions, including the pizzica and tarantella
