While wolves in the United States once numbered in the millions, conflicts with humans and federal extermination programs over the past 200 years brought the species to the brink of extinction. Fortunately, those numbers have finally begun to recover, thanks in part to organizations like one just 1.5 hours north of NYC, which has been helping wolves, and educating the public on this misunderstood animal, for nearly 20 years.
Join New York Adventure Club for a private tour of the Wolf Conservation Center, an environmental education organization working to protect and preserve red wolves and Mexican gray wolves in North America, two critically endangered wolf species.

**Since this experience takes place mostly outdoors in a wooded area and involves walking up steep hills at times terrain, please dress accordingly

By Public Transit:
Take the Harlem Line Metro-North Train departing from Grand Central Terminal, and disembark at the Katonah Station. The Wolf Conservation Center is a 15-minute cab or Uber ride from the station. Guests requesting a taxi can call Katonah Taxi at (914) 232-5772.
Trains from Katonah Station depart for GCT roughly every 30 minutes.
By Car: Parking is available for free at the entrance to the Wolf Conservation Center.
